Sabino

HISTORY
Sabino Known as the "Sculptor in Crystal." His work is a fine example of "Art Deco", the prevalent style of the 1920's. His artistry is world famous as is the golden opalescence which characterizes his craft. The opalescent glass catches the light and creates a mesmerizing effect, making it a perfect addition to any collection or as a standalone decorative piece. Sabino modeled by hand a mold for each figurine from which all the pieces are styled and signed. Is in fact a traditional art which has remained in the family for centuries, passed on from father to son, from hand to hand.
Early Sabino glass made for export was marked "Sabino France." Smaller pieces are marked "Sabino France" molded in to the side of the item. Early Sabino glass made for the French market was marked "Sabino Paris." Larger pieces still carry the "Sabino Paris" signature, which was etched onto the base of the piece.
